Older Baseball Cleats

36 - Sonnet XXIV

My eye has been done and painter drew

The image on your beautiful part of my heart, my body is

frame which is enclosed,

Perspective, excellent pictorial art,

that through the painter must see the art

to find where your true image is painted

kept in the workshop of my breasts,

What has your eyes glazing windows.

See now how to help each other's eyes: My

have traced your figure and your Son

windows to my breast, for which the Sun

enjoys looking out to see you.

But the best art of the eye lacks grace

portrays what he sees, but does not know the heart

~ William Shakespeare ~
