25 - The game of chess

We often hear people say that life is like a chess game and unfortunately more often happens that one wonders what that means! Well, I can not deny that sometimes I wonder too if he is so or that chess is the game more like life and that is a constant battle against themselves and against the world (which for me is the same thing).
Lately I thought about and wondered if life is a solo game of chess where every move is connected to the others and where we have an indefinite number of pieces that we can lose, except the King who is still single, or all of our history Life is a game in itself! On this question, I opted for the former hypothesis because as much as I tried to remember a story, even short, of my life that is not related in one way or another to all that the above are not able to find! But much more thought to how in which all this is the game that life has to be studied and analyzed, and despite many think that everything is already known and that nothing of what I say is new, the more I reflected on the fact that often you perform moves, creating traps and by movements apparently unnecessary to achieve its goal without taking into account the movements of the pieces of others and that's what it displaces, it leads to loss of balance that we had created with such cunning and very often makes us lose some of the most important pieces, but as I always console myself because I know that the parts are infinite, but the King and that there is only one lady who can give checkmate, and it is not permission to us.
But then when you lose an important piece of what? It starts all over again with other people? Switching to other moves? No, could change the target to be achieved, the interest could be diverted to other parts of the board but I think the only thing to do is learn a new move to repair the damage without too much weight on the progress of this game, a wrong move because it takes too little and make a right, the difficult thing is to restore, create what no one expects, surprise! In life, in love, work, family! A game continues where the errors should make us think and just react and where the easy wins have put us in watch and learn first where you have to be objective, recognizing their own mistakes to learn not to make others or at least try not to make similar.

A Fool "(by Sergio Alessandro Ughi) inevitable, White forces the player to surrender. The player with the black notes and indifferent air takes the viewer while the child, the projection of a desirable spiritual rebirth, play with the bishop sadly white. The cat who, along with chess, is the element of "magic-symbolic" of the picture, causes the loss of her bag of tricks a player, thus revealing the true nature of hypocrisy. The reading of the painting lends itself to the classic allegory that wants the player identified with the black death, but I would say that the picture only a spear so warning: too often the awareness of what is happening around us, enlightens us only out of time but as we are taught the "royal game" if we can not disprove a mate, we still have a duty to start another game.

This picture reminds us explicitly to the famous film of Bergman's "Seventh Seal", dominated by the surreal chess game between a knight and death. death, which plays with the pieces blacks, deception, defeat the knight, who instead played with the white pieces, a sign of sure defeat, with the clear implication that there is no sense fighting the inevitable.
